You cannot use services like Western Union, Ikobo, Xoom & MoneyGram to send money from India to abroad ( outward remittance ). Reserve bank of India don’t allow you to send money (Outward Remittance) from India using these services. You can receive money using these services(Western Union, Ikobo etc), Reserve Bank of India has no issues with it.
